Home Care Services

What we can do for you!

Personal Care

T&T Loving Hands HomeCare is the perfect choice for your loved ones personal care. Our personal care service is all about providing them with assistance in their daily life. The day to day activities that can be taken for granted by able bodied people, but that we understand assistance is needed for certain people.

Activities of Daily Living (ADL) are a series of basic activities necessary for independent living at home or in the community. These activities are performed on a daily basis. There are 5 basic categories for how we look at ADL.

  1. Personal hygiene – bathing/showering, grooming, nail care, and oral care.

  2. Dressing - being able to make appropriate clothing decisions and physically dress and undress oneself.

  3. Eating - the ability to feed oneself, though not necessarily the capability to prepare food.

  4. Maintaining continence - being able to mentally and physically use a restroom. This includes the ability to get on and off the toilet and cleaning oneself.

  5. Transferring/Mobility- being able to stand from a sitting position, as well as get in and out of bed. The ability to walk independently from one location to another.

We ensure that these personal care activities are provided for all in our care, at the highest level of quality.

Companion Care

Our companion care is home care offering non-medical services to older adults or people with needs. Companion care is different from personal care in that personal care aides (also known as home health aides) may provide the same services as companion care but also help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.

Our goal with companion care is emotional support and socialization, although companions may help older adults with many different types of tasks, for example:

  • Light housekeeping

  • Other household chores such as washing clothing and dishes

  • Running errands such as grocery shopping

  • Planning and scheduling appointments and social activities

  • Transportation to appointments and other activities

  • Preparing meals

  • Socialization and entertainment

  • Communicating with family members and other care team professionals
